
Epic Group has announced the appointment of Nimal Perera as Vice President and Business Head, strengthening its senior leadership as the company pursues strategic growth and operational excellence across global markets.
In his new role, Perera will be responsible for overseeing business strategy, operations and overall performance. His mandate includes deepening customer partnerships, improving operational efficiency and supporting sustainable, long-term growth. The appointment reflects Epic Group’s focus on building leadership depth to support value creation and expansion across its international operations.
Perera joins Epic Group with extensive senior management experience in the apparel and textile manufacturing sector. Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director at Ha-Meem Group, one of Bangladesh’s largest vertically integrated apparel manufacturers. In that role, he led large-scale industrial park operations, drove productivity improvements, expanded operational scale and strengthened governance across manufacturing and supply chain functions.
Prior to his tenure at Ha-Meem Group, Perera spent nearly a decade at Ananta Group, where he held the position of Chief Operating Officer. During this period, he was involved in expanding manufacturing capacity, optimising end-to-end operations and supporting relationships with global apparel brands. His experience includes managing complex, multi-factory environments, aligning large workforces and delivering consistent performance in highly competitive international markets.
Epic Group said Perera’s appointment is expected to further reinforce the company’s position as a global apparel solutions provider, with a focus on operational excellence, scale and sustainable growth.
