Lectra has named Rodrigo Siza as the new Regional Director of Spain and Portugal. The company is a reputed French technology service provider for fashion, textile, fabric and automotive industries.
“Rodrigo has established long-term collaborations in fashion, apparel, automotive and furniture industries in Portugal. He has helped our customers to emerge stronger from the world crisis which heavily impacted them. After 10 successful years (2007-2017) as Head of Lectra Portugal, Rodrigo is now also in charge of meeting the expectations of our Spanish customers,” says Daniel Harari, Chairman and CEO, Lectra.
In his new role, Siza will be responsible for developing new partnerships in the two countries. He will also work on building Lectra’s strength in Industry 4.0 concept by digitalising operations of the fashion industry in Spain and fashion and automotive industries in Portugal.
Lectra’s Industry 4.0 solutions will help Spanish fashion industry in handling the pressure of the rapidly changing consumer needs. It will support the country’s fashion brands in adopting shorter supply chain with smaller manufacturing and product development cycles. Siza will work on fulfilling this need of the industry by expanding the reach of Lectra’s solutions in both the countries.
Siza holds a Masters’ degree in Marketing from Minho University and a degree in Design and Communication from Porto University.
He previously served as Design and Merchandising Manager and International Consultant at Lectra from 2000 to 2004.
Before re-joining Lectra in 2007, Siza worked as a Sales Director at RPB Têxteis e Vestuario for two years.
