Vietnam International Textile & Garment Industry Exhibition (VTG) 2017 is all set to open gates on November 22 at Saigon Exhibition & Convention Centre, Ho Chi Minh City.
400 exhibitors from 14 countries world over will showcase high-tech machinery and the latest technologies at the 4-day event.
The countries that will be participating in the fair are China, India, Germany, Japan, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Switzerland, Turkey, South Korea, Uzbekistan and the host Vietnam.
VTG 2017 will also be a platform for various industry-relevant seminars. The seminars will cover topics ranging from the effect of Industry 4.0 on the garment industry to how prepared Vietnam is for FTAs.
Vietnam has seen an astounding foreign direct investment worth US $ 21.93 billion in the first seven months of 2017, up by 52 per cent from last year.
Additionally, Vietnam’s garment and textile industry (from January to June) clocked US $ 14.58 billion in outbound shipments, marking a surge of 11.3 per cent over last year.
The upcoming edition of VTG will once again showcase the strength of Vietnam as a manufacturing hub and help the manufacturers increase their business network as well as exports.
