The three-day ‘17th Dhaka International Yarn and Fabric Show 2021-Winter Edition (Virtual Expo)’ is scheduled to start on 22 March.
The organisers of the event —US-based event organising firm CEMS-Global in collaboration with the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT TEX) is organising the event — made this announcement on 8 March (Monday) at a press briefing held at Dhaka.
Addressing the media, President and Group Managing Director of the CEMS-Global USA & Asia Pacific Meherun N. Islam, reportedly, maintained that the company is organising the event on a virtual platform so as to maintain the social distance protocol in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The virtual platform will be accessible from any part of the globe on the scheduled days from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm Bangladesh time.
Country Director of CEMS-India Abhishek Das and Executive Director of CEMS Bangladesh Tanveer Qamrul Islam, were also, reportedly, present at the press meet.
