HeiQ Materials AG, Swiss manufacturer of anti-microbial additives for textile industry, is all set to hold a series of workshops for functional apparels and its various technologies at the forthcoming Performance Days show, which will take place on 26th and 27th April in Munich, Germany.
On the opening day of the event, the company will introduce ‘Dyefast’ – a cost-friendly solution that allows textile manufacturers to reduce water and energy consumption during polyester dyeing by 30 per cent.
On the same day, HeiQ will present an overview of temperature regulation technologies, including its own ‘Smart Temp’ dynamic cooling system as well as an innovative process for the synthesis of Short Polymer Fibers (SPF), currently the smallest fibre size on the market, which the company has developed with its research partnership with Deakin University, Australia.

Day 2 includes HeiQ’s seminar programme which will continue with a presentation of its PFC-free water repellent technology, inspired by the feathers of ducks. It will conclude event with a discussion about the textile industry’s approach to odour control, including details about HeiQ’s ‘Fresh Tech’ technology.
