Bangladesh Apparel Exchange (BAE) is going to organise the first ever ‘Bangladesh Fashionology Summit’ in Dhaka on February 12 next year to bridge the gap between the present and the future of the textile and fashion industry.
The aim of the Summit is to facilitate the innovative and technology-driven apparel manufacturing and supply chain conversation and build up a pro digital and technology community among the Bangladeshi manufacturers.
According to the press release issued, international apparel brands & retailers, readymade garment makers, technology and innovation companies, fabrics producers, and software service providers from around the world will participate in the Summit. Machinery giant Juki, software biggie Lectra and Tukatec are the prime exhibitors, among others, which have confirmed their participation in the event.
The organisers want to spark and drill in conversations across the highest transformational trends that are shaping up to come into the apparel industry.
“We want to bring together the most inspiring and innovative thinkers and companies from around the globe under one roof to initiate the much-needed conversations around technology, digitalisation and innovation in the apparel and fashion industry,” Mostafiz Uddin, Founder and CEO of BAE maintained.
A series of knowledge sharing sessions from some of the most inspired speakers from across the globe will converge at the event and explore a wide range of compelling topics to shape the future apparel industry.
The Summit will also cover ideas of automation, robotics, cobots for apparel industry to latest radio frequency identification controlled digital shop-floor control systems, virtual photorealistic simulation for apparel prototyping and product development to cybersecurity.
