‘Technical Textiles: The Next Big Opportunity’, is the topic of discussion for the 4th edition of TANTU Seminar which is to be held on 25th September 2016, at India International Centre, New Delhi. “The unique seminar will discuss about manufacturing sewn products other than traditional apparel, including upholstery, car seat cover, face mask, medical braces and protective wear. We have also included the sew-free (bonding/welding/taping) technology in the domain of discussion. The seminar will have panel discussions with esteemed panel members sharing their journey and challenges ahead,” avers Dr. Prabir Jana, Seminar Chairman and President, TANTU.
The seminar will divulge in pressing topics such as Clothtech, Protech, Medtech and Sporttech that are beckoning with endless opportunities for diversification, for which the Government has also come up with an array of incentives and schemes.

During the seminar, a panel of industry experts will share their experience and challenges ahead. The panel includes names like P. J. Singh, Managing Director of Tynor India, a company producing orthopaedic products in India and distributing to thirty countries all over the world; Dr. Mrinal Talukdar, Director Technical of Kusumgar Corporates, an Indian company working in the technical textiles and specialty textiles genre, encompassing a wide spectrum of industrial fabrics products and technical applications, and many more from diverse non-apparel manufacturing sectors.
