Güner Ureya, who is the Ambassador of Kosovo to Bangladesh, recently paid a courtesy call on the President of the apex garment makers body in Bangladesh, the BGMEA.
Media reports maintained this adding the Kosovo envoy and Faruque Hassan, discussed possible areas of expanding bilateral trade and investment, especially in the apparel and textile sector even as the Kosovo Ambassador expressed his country’s interest in collaboration and cooperation with Bangladesh in expanding trade between the two nations.
At the said meeting, during which the BGMEA President, reportedly, thanked the envoy for meeting him while also urging for sourcing apparel items from Bangladesh, was, reportedly, also present BGMEA Vice-President Shahidullah Azim even if Güner Ureya on his part invited Bangladeshi businessmen to explore opportunities for investment and joint ventures in Kosovo.
The meeting, reportedly, took place at BGMEA’s PR office in capital Dhaka.
