It is always heartening to see young entrepreneurs and middle level export firms grow. Hope International (Scope Fashions), the seven years old company of Jatin Gandhi, who started his career as a trainee in a big export house, has just started its second unit in Tughlakabad and also added two new buyers very recently. The company already has a unit of 75 machines in Okhla and the second unit, spread out in 200 square yards over 4 floors will house another 150 machines. Manufacturing ladies wear the company is exporting to buyers in Spain and Denmark. The new buyer that the company has added from Australia has more than 900 stores and five brands. “As export orders are improving and orders from domestic retail chains are also increasing, the prospects of overall business seems to be good for the future and we are expecting at least 35 to 40 per cent growth,” says Jatin.

The company offering products with average FOB of US $ 6 to 7 has a prime focus on quality. “We have never got any complaint from our buyers on quality issue, it is because I am personally involved in the quality department and even a checker can come to me on quality related issues. We are regularly improving our quality systems by keenly observing where and how we can improve the system for better quality,” concludes Jatin.
