The apex garment makers’ body in Bangladesh, the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) has cautioned its member factories in Bangladesh against business dealings with Hapa Fashion Pvt. Ltd.
This is as per reports, which added the garment makers’ body has issued a circular in this direction recently even as it reportedly underlined that some of its member factories have received faulty letter of credit (L/C) or work orders from the specific foreign company, forcing them to procure accessories, yarn, fabrics and other raw materials only from its designated suppliers.
The circular further reportedly underlined the garment exporters faced issues with timely delivery of goods as the nominated suppliers did not supply goods on time, following which the garment manufacturers reportedly filed complaints with the BGMEA,
