BRAC, the Bangladesh-based international development organisation, has upskilled around 2,200 workers for the country’s apparel factories apart from helping them in savings, providing legal support and day-care services for workers’ children.
This was underlined in media reports.
Speaking to the media, BRAC’s UDP programme manager Mojibul Huq, reportedly, observed it creates around 120 workers per month from its three centres, while adding the job placement rate from the BRAC OSS centres is around 98 per cent.
