It is heartening to know that some medium-level exporters are expecting tremendous growth this year. Doing annual business of US $ 2.33 million (Rs. 14 crore), Goyal Fashions of Jaipur is expecting almost 40 per cent growth in current fiscal to touch a turnover of US $ 3.33 million (Rs. 20 crore). The company has added few new buyers and is increasing its production capacity to meet the fresh demand. Manufacturing 70,000 pieces every month of ladies wear like dresses, skirts, blouses, etc. the aim is to produce one lakh pieces per month.
“As of now we have 300 machines and will add at least 100 or 150 machines to achieve the target capacity. We are working with buyers in the US, Mexican countries and Europe and overall order flow seems reasonably good. Our existing as well as new buyers are enthusiastic, so we are also positive and expanding. As our unit is spread out in 1,00,000 sq.ft., we have enough space for more production,” informs Ashish Goyal, the soft spoken Director of the company. The company doesn’t see any big issue to arrange fresh tailors as it hires trained workers from various training institutes.
