Cole Haan reopened its flagship store at Westfield Century City in Los Angeles, last Thursday. The reopening is part of the mall’s US $ 1 billion renovation that will include the expansion and further addition of Nordstrom, Macy’s, and Bloomingdale’s alongside brands like Zadig & Voltaire, Maje and Sandro.
Currently, the mall is undergoing renovations to add 422,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space.
The Cole Haan flagship is inspired by a residential home and follows a natural colour palette, herringbone wood floors and panelling and a large mosaic pattern in the front foyer. The use of natural lighting is intermixed with a signature lighting for separate rooms to illuminate the antique brass and hot-rolled steel fixtures that showcase a complete range of men’s and women’s footwear, apparel, handbags and accessory collections.

“Los Angeles is our second largest market in the United States and our customers have missed us during the remodel of the centre,” said Jack Boys, CEO of Cole Haan, adding, “Our new store concept is a faithful departure from our original store at Century City–both familiar and new.”
Prior to the reopening at Westfield Century City, Cole Haan expanded into the UK market at Selfridges and Liberty, and also unveiled its first store in Guatemala.
