Shamima Nasrin, Co-founder and former chairperson of the controversial e-commerce entity Evaly, who was released on bail recently after spending six months in jail in cases filed over allegations of embezzling customers’ money, has expressed hope of a fresh start even as she sought more time and support from the merchants and the customers to make a turnaround.
Media reports maintained this adding, the ex-chairperson of Evaly, discussed issues pertaining to making a turnaround in a virtual meeting organised by Evaly Fans Club, a Facebook group.
“…We will try to start everything anew. A lot of time has been wasted, but it doesn’t mean we have lost. We have the power to turn around…,” reportedly, underlined Shamima while adding she would sit with the High Court-appointed Evaly board to discuss the e-commerce entity’s future.
