Bangladesh is keen on signing free trade agreement (FTA) with Malaysia.

As per media reports, this was underlined by Bangladesh Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal recently, which added Mustafa Kamal maintained this during a bilateral meeting with a Malaysian delegation headed by Malaysian Deputy Finance Minister Dato Indear Moha Shar Abdullah, at Manila in the Philippines.

This was a part of the Annual Meeting of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

According to a press communiqué issued in this direction, the Finance Minister has also, reportedly, urged Malaysia to expedite the process for signing the FTA.
